Pricing

Our prices. All of them.

Most firms in this field keep their prices behind a sales call. We don't. Here are ours, in full. Transparency is the whole point of working with us.

Plan 1 · Licenses

at cost + 1%

You pay what we pay, plus 1%.

We sell Microsoft licenses as a CSP partner. You pay our purchase price from the distributor, plus 1%. That's the whole deal.

The 1% isn't margin. It covers billing errors and currency swings, so we don't lose money handling your licenses. Our income is the advisory, not your license volume.

  • Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure and more
  • No minimum volume
  • Self-service portal: adjust, add or cancel licenses yourself
  • No advisory included, and none needed to start

For many companies this alone is cheaper than their current setup.

Plan 2 · Agreement monitoring

€300 / month

ilion's AI watches your agreements. Continuously.

Our system reviews your license mix, your prices and your renewal dates. When something should change, you hear about it.

  • Every invoice checked by our AI before it reaches you
  • An AI assistant built into your self-service portal
  • Alerts before renewals and price changes
  • Specific recommendations, not reports that gather dust

The monitoring changes nothing on its own. It points out anomalies, price changes and decisions worth your attention before they get expensive or locked in.

No human consultant is included in this plan. That's why it costs €300 and not €700.

A 12-month term, renewing for 12 months at a time. Cancel with three months' notice before a term ends. If your last license runs past the term, the agreement stays in force until the end of the month it expires. No longer.

Plan 3 · Advisory

€700 / month

A licensing specialist on your side of the table.

  • Monthly meeting with your specialist
  • Direct advice on renewals, audits and scenarios
  • Scenario proposals with yearly totals, ready for your board
  • You talk to the specialist directly. No account managers.

Questions and answers

Can we start with just the licenses?
Yes. Most customers do. There's no obligation to buy anything else.
What does cost + 1% actually mean?
We buy your licenses through our distributor. You pay our purchase price plus 1%. Nothing else is added.
Why sell licenses at all, if you don't make money on them?
Volume. The more Microsoft licensing runs through ilion, the better the prices we buy at from the distributor, and every client pays those same prices. Selling at cost + 1% isn't charity; it lowers the floor for everyone. Our income is the advisory.
Why are your prices public when almost nobody else's are?
Because hidden prices are part of the problem we solve. Microsoft licensing is opaque enough already.
You sell licenses AND give advice. Isn't that a conflict?
It's the other way around. A reseller's advice follows their margin. Whatever pays them best sounds best for you. We took the margin out. You pay our purchase price plus 1%, and the 1% isn't profit. It covers billing errors and currency swings. Our income is the advisory, not your license volume. So the advice sits on one side of the table only. Yours.
What if Microsoft audits us?
Audit defence is a separate engagement. Nobody can honestly price a full audit on day one. We have seen one expected to take three months run for two years. So we agree the scope, the weekly effort and the hourly rate before we start, and nothing changes without your sign-off. Plan 3 keeps you audit-ready year-round; the defence itself is specialist work on top. You pay for genuine gaps, not the auditor's opening number.
